HMD Global has unveiled a new Dual SIM smartphone called Nokia 5.4. It is powered by Android 10 OS and is upgradable to Android 11 in future. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
The Nokia 5.4 features in 6.39-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio and 400nits brightness. It has octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor with Adreno 610 GPU.
It comes in 4GB / 6GB RAM options coupled with 64GB / 128GB storage variants. It has expandable memory support up to 256GB. It has 4000mAh battery inside with 10W fast charging support. It is claimed to offer up to 2 days of battery backup.
The Nokia 5.4 specs also include 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calling. At the back side are quad shooters which include 48MP (main) + 5MP (wide-angle) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) and LED Flash.
The cellphone has dimensions of 160.97 x 75.99 x 8.7 mm and weighs 180 grams. It has Nordic-inspired rear shell and houses a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C, Optional NFC and FM radio. Audio features include dual microphones, Qualcomm aptX, OZO Audio and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 5.4 price is 189 Euro ($229 / Rs. 16,900 approx.) and comes in Dusk and Polar Night colors. It will start selling in Europe and UK in December itself.
