HMD Global has officially launched Nokia 6.1 in India. It is the same smartphone globally known as Nokia 6 2018 but houses 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The Nokia 6.1 features in uni-body metal design made from 6000 series aluminum. It has 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, delivers 450nis brightness and supports multi-touch. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for added durability.
The phone measures 148.8 x 75.8 x 8.6 mm and houses fingerprint sensor at the back. It has Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots of which one doubles up for MicroSD card. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo clean OS as it is an Android One device.
Under the hood is 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 mobile platform with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The Nokia 6.1 Specs include 8MP front facing camera with 84-degree wide angle lens, F/2.0 Aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. At the back side is 16MP single rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, F/2.0 Aperture, 1µm pixels and supports PDAF.
The hardware is juiced up by 3000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0), FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
The Nokia 6.1 price is set at Rs. 18,999 and comes in Black with Copper, White with Iron and Blue with Gold colors. The handset will be available at Amazon.in from May 13th.
