HMD Global has unveiled two new Nokia G Series smartphones called Nokia G10 and Nokia G20. These share several similarities however, they are not same.
For starters, both G10 and G20 have Nordic design, are light weight and comes with durable casing. They have Google Assistant button for quick access and a side mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The Nokia G10 / G20 have dimensions of 164.9 x 76.0 x 9.2 mm and weighs 194/197 grams respectively. These have dual Nano SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE support. They are powered by Android 11 OS out of the box. Both mobiles have IPX2 splash resistant rating and includes a 5050mAh battery capacity.
The G10/G20 from Nokia come with 6.52-inch V-Notch display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. Inside the notch is an 8MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The Nokia G10 feature a 2Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor inside with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 3GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage space in base model. There is another variant of G10 housing 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. It has MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 512GB. At the back side of this cell phone are triple cameras consisting of 13MP (main) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) lenses with LED flash.
The Nokia G20 specs include 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and has 64GB / 128GB (eMMC 5.1) storage options. MicroSD card up to 512GB is supported. In terms of optics, mobile sports a 48MP (main, F/1.79) + 5MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) cameras with OZO audio.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The G20 has optional NFC variant.
The Nokia G10 3GB/32GB is priced at MSRP of 139 Euros ($164 / Rs. 12,300 approx.). It comes in Night and Dusk colors. The handset is slated to roll out in late April. The Nokai G20 4GB/64GB model price is st at MSRP of 159 Euros ($188 / Rs. 14,100 approx.) It comes in Night and Glacier colors. Phone’s roll out is dated in May.
