HMD Global has officially launched its new G Series smartphone called Nokia G21. It is powered by Android 11 OS (will receive 2 year software updates) and houses dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot.
The Nokia G21 specs include 6.5-inch V-Notch display that offers 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Powering inside is 1.6GHz octa-core UNISOC T606 processor with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU.
It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and is offered in 64GB / 128GB storage options. It has MicroSD card support for further expansion. The cell phone houses a 5050mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Sadly, Nokia is offering a 10W charger inside the box.
The Nokia G21 feature in an 8MP front facing camera while the back side houses 50MP main, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lenses. The mobile itself measures 164.6 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 190 grams. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC (depending on market), FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price and availability
The Nokia G21 price starts at €170 (US$ 192 / Rs. 14,530 approx.) and comes Dusk and Nordic Blue colors. It will start rolling out in European markets soon.
