HMD Global has just announced its latest Nokia smartphone called NOKIA X7. It is a mid-range device running on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and will be upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie.
The mobile has measurements of 154.8 x 75.76 x 7.97 mm and has weight of 178 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD).
The Nokia X7 specifications include 6.18-inch multi-touch display with 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 96% NTSC Color gamut, 500nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and DCI-P3 colors.
Internal hardware makes up of octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. The mobile comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC5.1 storage and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB eMMC5.1 storage options. MicroSD card allows further expansion up to 400GB.
The Nokia X7 specs also include 20MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. It has pixel binding that combines four pixels to form 1.8μm large pixel. Apart from that, there is AI beauty, AI portrait, AI expressions, 6 AI studio lights and dual-view mode.
At the back side is Zeiss certified 12MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX363 sensor, F/1.8 Aperture, 1.4μm pixels and OIS. There is a secondary 13MP rear camera with F/2.2 Aperture for Zoom and Portrait shots. AI Scene detection (18 scenes) is also present.
This Android phone houses 3500 mAh (typical) / 3400 mAh (minimum) battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity wise, it supports dual 4G VoLTE, WI-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio jack. there is Nokia OZO stereo recording as well.

The Nokia X7 comes in Midnight Black, Dark Blue, Red and Silver colors. It will go on sale in China from October 23rd. The handset will probably launch in global markets as Nokia 7.1 Plus.
