OnePlus Chinese wing has unveiled OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition smartphone in China. As the name suggests, the handset is inspired by infamous Cyberpunk 2077 RPG game.
Specifications of OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition are same as vanilla OnePlus 8T. Its design however is a different story. The smartphone does maintain its slim and light weight profile. It has new CMF design and comes with 3-stage buttons.
The top side at the back has a unique camera housing which mentions text – ‘NETRUNNER EDITION’, ‘2077’, and ‘NEURAL CONNECTION STATUS: ACTIVE’. There is a barcode from the game as well.
The rear mid part is made using AG Glass and comes with OnePlus logo embossed on it. The bottom part has Cyberpunk 2077 logo in yellow with carbon finished background.
On the software front, OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is powered by Android 11 based OxygenOS 11. It comes pre-installed with special theme, AOD Style and Camera filters. Its live wallpaper has spiritual symbols that coincides with the game. The fingerprint unlock animation is similar to artificial eye scan inside the game.
The packaging of Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition OnePlus 8T is also unique. It comes with customized luminous mobile phone case and includes one of six limited edition badges (random).
The OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2017 Edition price is 3999 Yuan (US$ 597 / Rs. 44,430 approx.) and comes in 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option.It will go on sale in China from November 11th. There is no word on its global release. [source – via]
