Oppo has silently introduced a new budget mobile phone called OPPO A1. It comes with Face recognition but lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Specifications of Oppo A1 includea 5.7-inch S-IPS multi-touch display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and sports 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is a 2.5GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.
Talking about camera, the device features in 8MP front facing shooter for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash. The cell phone packs in Dual SIM slots and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.2.
The hardware is powered by 3180 mAh Li-Ion battery. The handset also comes with Accelerometer and Proximity sensor. Usual connectivity options like 4G Vo LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
The Oppo A1 is priced in China a 1399 Yuan (US$ 220 / €179 approx.) and comes in Cherry Red, Dark Blue and Pearly white colors. It will start selling in China from April 1, 2018.
