The Oppo A5 smartphone, which was first introduced in China last month has reportedly launched in India. It is priced in India at Rs. 14990 and is available via offline stores like Hotspot and BigC Mobiles. It comes in Blue and Rose Gold colors.
In terms of specifications of Oppo A5, it has 6.2-inch FullView 2.5D Glass display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and multi-touch support. The handset boasts a decent 87.8% screen-to-body ratio.
The cell phone runs on Color OS 5.1 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It has 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 156.2 x 75.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 168 grams. It has illusion textured back but sadly lacks a fingerprint sensor. A 4230 mAh (typical) / 4100 mAh (minimum) battery powers the hardware.
The Oppo A5 specs also include 13MP (F/2.2) + 2MP dual cameras at the back with LED Flash. At the front side is an 8MP shooter with F/2.2 Aperture and AI Beauty. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, USB OTG, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
