Oppo has introduced its latest mid-segment smartphone in China called Oppo A57. It has dimensions of 149.1 x 72.9 x 7.65 mm and weighs 147 grams.
The phone packs in 5.2-Inch IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 282ppi pixel density. The screen has 800:1 contrast, 70% colour saturation and 450nits brightness.
The Oppo A57 specs include 1.4GHz octa-core 64-Bit Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It is backed by 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB.
The smartphone is equipped with fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button, for added security. It is also equipped with 2900 mAh battery that offers 13 hours 30 minutes of talk time.
The phone has Geo-Magnetic sensor, Light, Sensor, Gravity and Distance sensor inside. Inside is Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots that support 4G LTE with VoLTE.
The Oppo A57 features a 16MP front camera with CMOS Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 5P Lens that ensures quality selfies. On the back side is 13MP main camera with LED Flash CMOS Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, 5P Lens, PDAF and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0. It supports all the major connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Oppo A57 cones in Gold and Rose Gold colour option. It is priced at CNY 1599 ($231 or €218) and will be available from December 12, 2016.
