Oppo has silently unveiled its latest A series smartphone in Taiwan called Oppo AX5s (A5s in other markets). The handset is similar to A5 and packs in dual SIM slots.
The phone measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.2 mm and has weight of 170 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 oreo based ColorOS 5.2 It has 4230 mAh (typical) / 41000 mAh (minimum) battery capacity.
The Oppo AX5s specs include 6.2-inch in-cell Full View display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is 2.3GHz octa-core Mediatek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
It has 3GB RAM and 64GB storage space and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. The AX5s / A5s features in 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 13MP (F/2.0) + 2MP dual rear shooters.
The phone supports 4G VoLTE, WI-FI 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, USB OGT, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Oppo AX5s comes in Red and Black colors. Price and availability details were not revealed.
