Oppo has just announced a new smartphone called the Oppo R9s. The handset was already spotted at TENAA and AnTuTu earlier.
The phone measures 153 x 74.3 x 6.58 mm, weighs 145 grams and sports uni-body metal design.
It has 5.5-Inch 2.5D curved class display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well for scratch resistance.
The Oppo R9s specs include 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB.
The device houses hybrid dual SIM slots (nano + nano / MicroSD) and runs on Android 6.0.1 with ColorOS 3.0. It has fingerprint sensor and is powered by 3010 mAh battery. It supports VOOC flash charge as well.
It has 16MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 5P Lens and auto focus capabilities. On the back is 16MP primary snapper with F/1.7 Aperture, 6P Lens, EIS, LED Flash and allows 4K recording as well.
It has fingerprint sensor embedded on its home button. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS etc.
The OPPO R9s comes in Rose Gold, Gold and Black color option and is priced at 2799 Yuan (US$ 415). It is up for order in China and will go on sale from October 28th.
