Oppo has just uneivled its 2nd Generation RENO 2 smartphone in India. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and includes Hybrid Nano SIM slots.
The Oppo Reno 2 specs include 6.55-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 100% NTSC color gamut and multi-touch support. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection as well.
The phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has Game Boost 2.0 for optimed gaming.
The Oppo Reno2 features in 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.1 storage space and support for MicroSD card for further storage expansion. It comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 on top.
There are quad rear cameras with LED flash. In include 48MP (1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, 0.8um pixels, OIS, PDAF) + 8MP (116-degree Ultra-wide-angle lens) + 13MP (Telephoto, 5X Hybrid Optical Zoom, 20X digital Zoom) + 2MP (mono lens) shooters.
For selfies it has 16MP front camera and houses LED Flash as well. The shooter is placed inside Shark fin module which can withstand over 200,000 times of lifting. It opens up in just 0.8 seconds.
The Oppo Reno 2 measures 160 x 74.3 x 9.5 mm and has weight of 189 grams. It has 3D Glass back comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A 4000mAh (typical) / 3915mAh (Minimum) battery with VOOC 3.0 fast chargin support. It has Dolby Atmos for audio.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Oppo Reno2 price is Rs. 36,990 and comes in Ocean Blue and Luminos Black colors. It will be up for pre-order at Amazon.in, Flipkart and other online/offline platforms starting September 10th and will be available from September 20th.
