Razer Phone 2 with 5.7-inch 120Hz QHD display, SD845, 8GB RAM announced

Razer has announced successor to last years Razer Phone and company is calling this handset as Razer Phone 2.

This Android Gaming Phone comes with IP67 water resistance (up to 1 meter) rating and houses side-mounted fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking. It has Vapor Chamber Cooling that spread the heat throughout the phone via its custom Vapor chamber.

The Razer Phone 2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie in future. The handset is also equipped with stereo front-facing speakers with dual amplifiers, 24-bit DAC audio adapter and Dolby Atmos sound.

Razer Phone 2 photo -4The smartphone has dimensions of 158.5 x 78.99 x 8.5 mm and sports glass back. It has 5.72-inch IGZO LCD UltraMotion display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 645nits brightness and multi-touch support. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for added durability.

The Razer Phone 2 Specs include 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB / 128GB (in satin version) UFS storage space and allows further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card.

Razer Phone 2 photo -1In terms of camera, there is an 8MP front shooter with F/2.0 Aperture for selfies. At the back side is dual camera setup with dual-tone LED Flash. It consists of 12MP primary rear camera with dual PDAF, OIS and F/1.75 wide-angle lens. The secondary rear camera is of 12MP shooter with Telephoto lens, Sony IMX Sensor and F/2.6 Aperture.

The hardware is juiced up by a powerful 4000 mAh battery. Additionally, the battery also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ fast charging and wireless charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.

Razer Phone 2 photo -2The Razer Phone 2 Price is $799 (Rs. 59,450 approx.) and comes in Mirror and Satin versions. The Mirror version of this gaming phone will be up for order in US, Canada, UK and Europe starting today. Satin variant will be available later this  year.
