Realme has just unveiled its latest Realme 5 smartphone in India. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 and houses Dual Nano SIM slots.
The mobile is splash resistant and flaunts a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. It has plastic back with crystal design with nano-scale textures and glossy surface. The device measures 164.4 x 75.6 x 9.3 mm and weighs 198 grams.
The Realme 5 specifications include 6.5-inch multi-touch LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 269ppi pixel density, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 480nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It has mini-drop notch at the top and boasts 89% screen-to-body ratio.
The mobile comes with octa-core (2GHz Kryo 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kryo 260 x 4) Snapdragon 665 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes in option of 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB ROM. There is MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 256GB.
The Realme 5 features in quad camera setup at the back. It has 12MP (Main, F/1.8, PDAF, EIS, 10X digital zoom, AI) + 8MP (119-degree Ultra-wide-angle lens, 1.12um, F/2.25, 5P lens) + 2MP (Portrait Lens) + 2MP (Macro lens, F/2.4, 1.75um, 4cm focus) shooters along with LED flash. For selfies, there is a 13MP front shooter with F/2.0 Aperture, 5P lens, AI Beauty and AI HDR.
The hardware is juiced up by 5000mAh battery and supports 10W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/A-GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. The device also includes Light sensor, Proximity, Magnetic Induction sensor, Gyro and Acceleration sensor.
