Realme has officially announced its latest budget smartphone called Realme C2.
It comes with Realme’s signature Diamond-cut design which is a flagship design on a budget phone. The mobile houses dedicated Dual SIM slots and a MicroSD card slot.
The smartphone features in 6.1-inch dew-drop display with 1520 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has extremely thin bezels and thus boasts 89.35% screen-to-body ratio.
The Realme C2 features in 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 (650MHz) GPU. The SoC comes with Imagiq suite, NeuroPiolot and CorePilot.
It comes with 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage options. The device allows further expansion as well using MicroSD card (dedicated slot).
At the back side of the cell phone is 13MP and 2MP dual rear cameras with LED flash. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera with AI capabilities.
The phone is powered by Android 9.0 Pie based ColorOS 6.0. The device supports AI face unlock and can record 480p slow-motion videos at 80fps as well.
The Realme C2 specs include a 4000 mAh battery which company claims to offer 18 hours of calling, up to 26 hours of web browsing or up to 20 hours of Youtube.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Realme C2 2GB/16GB Price is Rs. 5999 (US$ 86 approx.) while while the Realme C2 3GB/32GB costs Rs. 7999 (US$ 115). It comes in Diamond Blue and Diamond Black. The phone will be available online at Flipkart and company’s official. First sale will at May 15th, 12:00PM. There are benefits worth Rs. 5300 for Jio users (in vouchers).
