Realme has finally launched its latest flagship in China called Realme GT 5G. The smartphone comes in two designs – one with glass back and other with dual-tone vegan leather design.
The Realme GT 5G has measurements of 158. x 73.3 x 8.4 mm (glass) – 9.1mm (leather) and weighs about 186 grams (glass) / 86.5 grams (leather). Regardless of the design, the handset comes with Dual Nano SIM slots.
The mobile sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors, 98% NTSC color gamut and HDR10+ support. The handset also boasts 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also present for fast and secure authentication.
The Realme GT 5G is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has stainless steel and copper VC cooling heatsink for 100% coverage and results in temperature reduction by up to 15°C.
The Realme GT 5G also comes with one-click GT Mode for performance boost / dynamic effects boost / sound effects boost / vibration boost. It built-in linear vibration motor for all new 4D vibration effects. The mobile runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0.
The cellphone comes in options of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage options. First batch of Realme GT 5G users can avail additional 120GB cloud space for 6 months free use.
The Realme GT 5G specifications also include 4500mAh (typ) battery and supports 65W Super Dart flash charging. It has 16MP selfie camera with F/2.5 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras which makes up of 64MP (main, Sony IMX682 sensor, F/1.8) + 8MP (119° ultra-wide, F/2.3) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) snappers and LED Flash.
Realme has included a 3.5mm headphone jack in GT 5G model. It also delivers Hi-Res audio with Dolby Atmos support and house stereo speakers. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6e 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, NFC and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
The Realme GT 5G colour options include Grey, Blue and Leather paints. The handset is already up for order in China and will go on sale from March 10th.
