Realme Watch 2 is official with 1.4-inch display, SpO2 monitoring

Realme’s Malaysia wing has introduced its latest smartwatch in its native market called as Realme Watch 2. It is successor to Realme Watch.

The smartwatch has dimensions of 257.6 x 35.7 x 12.2 mm and weighs 38 grams. The wearable comes with IP68 water resistant rating which makes it perfect for workouts.

Talking about fitness, the Realme Watch 2 offers 14 sports modes like indoor / outdoor walking, indoor / outdoor running, Cricket, Yoga, Hiking, Rowing, Elliptical, Free training, strength training etc. Company has promised 90 sports modes which will be available via OTA update.

The Realme Watch 2 feature a 1.4-inch LCD touch screen (colour) boasting 320 x 320 pixels resolution, 323ppi pixel density and 600nits peak brightness. It has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection as well for scratch resistance.

It uses Bluetooth V5.0 for connecting with smartphones. It is compatible with devices powered by Android Android 5.0 or above. The wearable supports Realme Link App for further customization. The app offers more than 100 live watch faces.

Once connected, Realme Watch 2 delivers call notifications, SMS alerts and 3rd party app messages. The wearable also acts as a camera shutter and allows easy control of music.

Also bundled inside is 24 hour real-time heart rate monitor with auto heart rate measurement. It also supports SpO2 Blood Oxygen level measurement and can also deliver low heart rate alerts. Other features like sleep detection, step counter, calories, distance, water / sedentary remainders etc are also present.

The Realme Watch 2 come with 3-axis accelerometer and rotor vibration motor. It has 315mAh (typical) / 305mAh (minimum) battery capacity which offers about 12 days of battery life.
