Along with Realme X, company has also announced Realme X Youth Edition (also called as Realme X Lite) in China. The handset is similar to Realme 3 Pro and packs in similar specs.
As you might expect, the Realme X Youth edition comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor and Dual SIM slots. It runs on Color OS 6.0 which is based on Android Pie OS.
It has 6.3-inch multi-touch display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The mobile is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 710 Soc and is paired with Adreno 616 GPU.
The Realme X Youth Edition specs include 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB ROM and 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB/128GB storage space. The device also supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB.
A 25MP shooter is placed at the front with 1/2.8-inch sensor size and F/2.0 Aperture. At the back is 16MP (1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, F/1.7 Aperture, 1.22um pixels, EIS) and 5MP (F/2.4 Aperture) shooters. The cell phone is more than capable of recording 960fps super slo-mo videos.
The Realme X Youth Edition (Realme X Lite) houses 4045 mAh (typical) / 3960 mAh (minimum) battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB, GPS/GLONASS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Realme X Youth Edition price is 1199 Yuan (US$ 175 / Rs. 12,260 approx.) for 4GB/64GB model, 1299 Yuan (US$ 190 / Rs. 13,300 approx.) for 6GB/64GB variant and 1499 Yuan (US$ 218 / Rs. 15,340 approx.) for premium 6GB/128GB model. The handset comes in Lightning Purple and Nitro Blue colors.
