Xiaomi’s Redmi brand officially launched its latest Redmi smartphone in India called Redmi 10 Prime.

Redmi 10 Prime Specifications and Features

Starting with dimensions, the smartphone measures 161.95 x 75.57 x 9.56 mm and weighs 192 grams. It has P2i splash resistant coating. It also comes with dual Nano SIM slots with dual 4G VoLTE support. A fingerprint sensor is placed at side for fast and secure unlocking.

The Redmi 10 Prime feature a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Its screen offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1500:1 contrast ratio, up to 400nits brightness and multi-touch support.

Powering inside is octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU (1000MHz). The Redmi 10 Prime has options of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage and 6GBLPDDR4X RAM with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. The handset sports a dedicated MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 512GB. Notably, it has RAM extension technology up to 2GB.

The cellphone comes pre-installed with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5. It has 8MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 1080p video recording support. At the back side are quad-cameras and LED Flash. These include 50MP main with F/1.8 Aperture, 1080p video recording, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter with 120° FOV and F/2.2 Aperture, 2MP macro lens with 1.75um pixel size, F/2.4 Aperture and 2MP depth camera with 1.75um pixel size and F/2.4 Aperture.

The Redmi 10 Prime specs include a built-in 6000mAh Battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging support. Xiaomi has included a 22.5W charger inside the box. The smartphone houses dual Stereo Speakers with FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.

The Redmi 10 Prime 4GB/64GB model is priced at Rs. 12,499 while its 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs. 14,499 in India. It comes in Phantom Black, Bifrost Blue and Astral White colors.
