Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched its latest budget smartphone in India called Redmi 8A Dual. It has Fingerprint resistant Aura XGrip design and comes with P2i splash resistant coating.
While there is no fingerprint sensor, the mobile does support AI Face unlock. It has dedicated Dual Nano SIM slots and MicroSD card slot. The device boots on Android 9 Pie based MIUI 11.
The Redmi 8A Dual Specs include 6.22-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution at comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Inside is octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC.
It has an 8MP front camera for selfies while the back side is a combination of 13MP and 2MP shooters. A 5000mAh battery powers the hardware. It should last for couple of days on mixed usage.
The Redmi 8A Dual variants include 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM options, coupled with 32GB of internal memory. It is further expandable up to 512GB using MicroSD card.
