Along with Redmi 11 Prime 4G/5G smartphones, company has also unveiled its new entry-level smartphone in India called Redmi A1.
Redmi A1 specs and features
The smartphone sports a leather mimicking design with top mounted speaker and P2i splash resistant coating.
The Redmi A1 measures 164.9 x 76.75 x 9.09 mm and has weight of 192 grams. It comes with dedicated dual Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot.
The cell phone houses a 6.52-inch multi-touch display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 400nits brightness. It has scratch resistant glass on top.
Specifications of Redmi A1 include 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with IMG PowerVR GPU. It has 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. It has support for microSD card up to 512GB.
The Redmi A1 runs on stock Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. it has support for more than 20 Indian languages. Powering the hardware is a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
For optics, this entry level cell phone has an 8MP main rear camera with F/2.0 Aperture, coupled with a secondary depth sensor at back. At the front side is a 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture.
Connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack are supported.
Redmi A1 price in India and availability
The A1 from Redmi is priced at Rs. 6499 and comes in Light Green, Light Blue and Classic Black colors. It will go on sale at Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and offline channels from September 9th 4:00PM.
