Samsung Electronics is all set to unveil its new CJ791 QLED Monitor at CES 2018. It is company’s first curved monitor to feature Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.
Using a single Thunderbolt 3 cable, users can link and dock their monitor and laptop without extensive wiring. It is capable of handling processing speed of up to 40Gbps, making it nearly 40-times faster than USB. The Thunderbolt 3 interface also enables the CJ791 to provide up to 85W of laptop charging power.
The Samsung CJ791 gas slim-depth and narrow-bezels design which can accommodate multi-display setups without sacrificing content consistency or visual appearance. It has height adjustable stand with tilt function for comfortable viewing.
It has 34-inch QLED display with 3440 x 1440 pixels ultra-wide QHD resolution at 21:9 aspect ratio. Statistically speaking, it offers about 2.5 times the pixel density when compared with full HD alternatives.
The QLED screen offers about 125% sRGB spectrum delivering deeper black, brighter whites and pristine shades. Not to mention its industry’s sharpest 1500R curvature and 178-degree ultra-wide viewing angles. The display features in 4ms (milliseconds) response time for smooth transitions between scenes.
The Monitor packs in gamer-friendly features like Gama Mode, which contains dynamic Gamma settings that intuitively adjusts color and contrast of each individual scene to produce true-to-life environment.
The Samsung CJ791 monitor will be showcased at CES 2018 which held at Central Hall in Las Vegas Convention Center (January 9th to 12th, 2018).
