Samsung has quietly unveiled a new budget Galaxy A series smartphone in Indonesia called Galaxy A01 Core. It runs on Android 10 (Go Edition) OS out of the box.
The smartphone comes with physical measurements of 141.7 x 67.5 x 8.6 mm and has weight of 150 grams. It has Dual Nano SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core specifications include 5.3-inch PLS TFT LCD display with rounded corners and 1480 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood is 1.5Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor with IMG GE8100 GPU.
The smartphone comes in options of 1GB / 2GB RAM with 16GB (10.6GB user available) / 32GB storage space. It has dedicated MicroSD card support for further storage expansion up to 512GB.
The Galaxy A01 Core features in a 5MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side,, you get 8MP main camera with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus and 4X digital zoom support.
The cellphone is powered by 3000mAh battery. It offers about 14 hours of LTE / Wi-Fi usage, up to 11 hours of video or 70 hours of audio playback or about 17 hours 4G talk time.
In terms of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/GLONASs, and 3.5mm Audio Jack. There is a built-in accelerometer and virtual proximity sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 Core price is IDR 1,099,000 (US$ 74 / Rs. 5,560 approx.) and comes in Black, Blue and Red colors. It is already available in Indonesia as a part of first flash sale event.
