Samsung will soon release a 5G variant of Galaxy A71 smartphone. Compulsory Chinese certification authority TENAA has certified Galaxy A71 5G with model number SM-A7160.
Most the details were revealed by TENAA however, some are missing. For instance, there is no mention of phones display or its resolution and no photos were out.
The Galaxy A71 5G (SM-A7160) does comes with 4370 mAh battery capacity and should support 25W fast charging. It will have dual SIM support and supports both SA/NSA bands.
The mobile boots on Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.0. It has octa-core (2.2GHz / 1.8GHz) processor which is probably Exynos 980 SoC with integrated 5G modem. You get 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM, which is further expandable using MicroSD card.
The SM-A7160 houses total of four cameras, quad rear cameras consisting of 64MP (main) + 12MP (ultra-wide-angle) + 5MP (depth) + 5MP (macro) shooters. There is no mention of Front camera but we do know that Galaxy A71 4G model came with 32MP selfie shooter.
Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio Jack (with Dolby Atmos support) will be supported
