Samsung has officially launched Galaxy A8+ (2018), it latest smartphone in India. It was first introduced last month.
Specifications wise, it has 6-inch Super AMOLED screen which offers 2220 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution. It has an octa-core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7885 processor which is based on 14nm process. It is backed by Mali-G71 GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) features in 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It comes pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
In terms of measurements, it goes at 159.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 191 grams. The handset is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. It has Dual SIM slots as well which support 4G VoLTE in India.
Aimed at Selfie lovers, the mobile is equipped with 16MP + 8MP dual front cameras, both with F/1.9 Aperture. They allow Live Focus, allowing you to adjust bokeh effects. At the back is a 16MP primary shooter with LED Flash and F/1.7 Aperture. A fingerprint sensor is also placed at the back for quick unlocking.
The A8+ 2018 gets energy from 3500 mAh battery. It also supports adaptive fast charging just in case. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, NFC and USB-Type C are present as well.
The Samsung Galaxy A8+ 2018 is priced in India at Rs. 32,990 ($518 approx.) and comes in Gold and Black colors. It will be available exclusively at Amazon.in from January 20th.
