Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) with Quad Cameras, 8GB RAM announced

Samsung has announced world’s first quad-camera smartphone called Galaxy A9 (SM-A920F). It was listed at Samsung (Ru) website yesterday and now, company has officially introduced the smartphone at an event in Malaysia.
What makes Galaxy A9 (2018) unique is its quad cameras at the back. They consist of 24MP (F/1.7) + 10MP (Wide-angle, F/2.4) + 8MP (120-degree ultra wide angle, F/2.4) + 5MP (depth, F/2.2) shooters and LED flash. For selfies, it has 24MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) specs include 6.3-inch multi-touch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood is an octa-core (2.2GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 710 mobile platform with Adreno 616 GPU.
Samsung-Galaxy-A9-2018-goes-official-1It comes in options of 6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 512GB using MicroSD card. In terms of dimensions, they are 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm and has weight of 183 grams.
The smartphone packs in dedicated dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. There is a rear facing fingerprint sensor as well for fast unlocking. It has a 3800 mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
The Galaxy A9 SM-A920F runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS and supports all major connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS and optional NFC.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) price starts at €599 (US$ 690 / Rs. 51,300 approx.) in Europe, £549 (US$ 724 / Rs. 53,720 approx.) in UK and 39990 rubles (US$ 599 / US$ 44,444 approx.) in Russia. The mobile comes in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink colors and will roll out in select markets from November 2018.
