Samsung Galaxy Note10 Series are not the only things that company announced. Korean giant has also introduced its new notebook called Galaxy book S.
Starting with the dimensions, the Galaxy Book S measures 305.2 x 203.2 x 6.2 – 11.8 mm and weighs about 960 grams. It runs on Windows 10 Home / Pro Operating system and comes supports Windows hello sign-in using Fingerprint recognition.
The notebook features in a unique arched frame that flows when opened or closed. It has a premium anodized aluminum frame at the top and base. There is a backlit keyboard which includes light sensor and touch pad.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S specs include 13.3-inch 10-point multi-touch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an octa-core (2.84GHz + 1.8GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 7nm compute platform.
The SoC is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes in 256GB / 512GB storage options. The ROM is further expandable up to 1TB. For video calling, Samsung has included a 720p HD camera.
The hardware is juiced up by 42Wh battery which company claims to offer about 23 hours of video playback. The are stereo speakers tuned by AKG and delivers immersive sound thanks to Dolby Atmos technology.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE (Cat.18 via Nano SIM), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Book S price starts at $999 (Rs. 70,840 approx.) and comes in Mercury Gray and Earthy Gold colors. It will start rolling out in select markets in Fall 2019.
