Samsung has announced its latest Windows 10 2-in-1 Tablets at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 called Galaxy Book. It comes in 10.6-inch and 12-inch screen sizes.
The Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6″ has dimensions of 261.2 x 179.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 640 Grams for Wi-Fi model and 650 grams for LTE variant. It has 10.6-inch TFT display with 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.6GHz dual-core 7th Gen Intel Core M3 processor. It has 4GB RAM and comes in 64GB / 128GB storage options. MicroSD card up to 256GB is also supported.
The Galaxy Book 12″ measures 291.3 x 199.8 x 7.4 mm and weighs 754 grams. It has a larger 12-inch AMOLED display with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution. The 2-in-1 gets processing power from 3.1GHz dual-core 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. This particular model comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD storage. There has option for 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD as well and also allows further expansion up to 256GB.
Both of these Galaxy Book runs on Windows 10 OS. The 10.6-inch variant has 5MP front camera but lacks rear shooter. It has 30.4W fast charging battery that offers up to 10 hours of battery life. the 12-inch model has 5MP front snapper and 13MP auto focus rear camera. It is powered by 39.04W battery (fast charging) with 10.5 hours of battery life.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE Cat.6 (Optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C x 2 etc.
