Looks like Samsung is working on yet another clam-shell Android Flip phone called the Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-G1600). The phone is already in testing stages and has made its way at GFXBench.
Listing at GFXBench has reveals most of the specification of Galaxy Folder 2. It includes 3.8-Inch Capacitive touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. It has 1.4GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU.
The said model comes with 2GB RAM (1.8GB precisely) and 16GB internal storage space, along with MicroSD card slot for further expansion. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box and will support 4G LTE.
The specs listed include 8MP main camera on the back with LED flash, Auto Focus, HDR and 1080p video recording. On the front is 5MP secondary snapper that records 1080p videos as well.
Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS etc. will be present as well.
The Galaxy Folder 2 is successor to Galaxy Folder, that launched in Korea last year. It was priced at US$ 253 and we expect this 2nd generation Folder 2 to be priced similarly.
