Samsung has finally put an end to the rumors and has launched its latest clamshell phone called Galaxy Folder 2 (SM-G1600). It has already made appearance in the past in live photos.
This latest flip phone from Samsung has dimensions of 122 x 60.2 x 15.4 mm and weighs about 160 grams. It has 1950 mAH battery inside that gives about 318 hours of standby.
The Galaxy Folder 2 specs include 3.8-inch TFT display with 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. It has 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor at the core along with 2GB RAM.
It has 16GB internal memory of which 10.5GB is user available. It has MicroSD card slot that supports up to 128GB expansion. Main camera at the back is of 8MP with F/1.9 aperture, LED flash, Auto Focus and records 1080p videos at 30 fps. On the front side sits a 5MP selfie snapper with F/1.9 aperture as well.
The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 features Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSBV 2.0, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou etc. It also comes with Proximity sensor, Hall sensor and Accelerometer.
The Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 has been listed on Samsung China’s official website. Pricing and availability details were not revealed.
