Samsung has launched a new Galaxy ON Series smartphone called the Galaxy On NXT. The phone measures 151.7 x 75 x 8 mm, weighs 167 grams and houses fingerprint sensor, embedded on home button.
The handset sports full metal unibody design. It has 5.5-inch display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. It has 1.6GHz octa-core processor Exynos 7879 processor with Mali-T830 GPU and 3GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy On NXT specs include 8MP front camera with F/1.9 Aperture. On the back is 13MP main camera with CMOS Sesnor, F/1.9 Aperture, Auto Focus, LED Flash and records 1080p videos at 30 fps.
The smartphone houses 32GB of on-board storage space of which about 24.6GB is user available. It allows further expansion up to 256GB as well. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE.
Inside is 3300 mAh non removable battery that offers up to 21 hours of 3G talk time, up to 14 hours of LTE internet, UP to 16 hours of Wi-Fi, about 14 hours Video playback and 84 hours of audio playback.
The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, ANT+, Bluetooth V4.1, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Samsung Galaxy On NXT is priced at Rs. 18,490 (US$ 277) and will be available later today exclusively from Flipkart. It comes in Black and Gold colour options.
