Samsung has scheduled an event on February 26th, 2017 where it is expected to unveil next generation Galaxy smartphone called the Galaxy S8.
Now have stumbled upon an alleged Spec sheet of Galaxy S8 Edge variant at Weibo. According to the leakster, the S8 Edge could have 5.5-Inch Super AMOLED display with 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and whopping 806ppi pixel density. Obviously it will have dual-edge curved screen with 80% screen-to-body ratio.
It could have Snapdragon 830 SoC or Exynos 8895 (10nm) processor inside, depending on the location. The S8 Edge is also expected with 6GB or 8GB RAM inside. It could also borrow dual camera setup from Galaxy S8, considering its predecessors.
The spec sheet also reveals that it could support NFC and MST for payments. Moreover, the slide also mentions that Samsung could announce Galaxy S8 Edge on Feb 26th along with Galaxy S8. Moreover, it could be priced at 6000 Yuan that converts to $885.
Nothing is official at the moment and Korean phone maker has been staying quiet after its Note7 Fiasco. We advice our readers to take the leak with a slight pinch of salt.
