We already know that Samsung is working on Galaxy S8 smartphone. It will be highly based on its predecessor, the Galaxy S7 and should have a 5-inch screen.
A new set of rumors has surfaced in South Korea, which is company’s home market. Samsung could introduce Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone alongside the S8.
The Plus variant of Galaxy S8 should have a 6-Inch AMOLED display. Both the devices will have curved screens as rumored earlier. The larger screen (Plus variant) should have very slim bezels, visually speaking, an almost bezel less phone.
The Galaxy S8 Plus will have similar footprint to recently discontinued Galaxy Note7, but with a large display. However, it might not feature a Stylus. Other specifications between the S8 and S8 Plus should be more or less the same.
Moreover, there are strong chances that upcoming Galaxy phones could be 15% to 20% costlier than Galaxy S7 models. This is due to increase in cost of materials.
Samsung recently acquired VIV AI platform, which is expected to feature in both of S8 devices.The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be go official in April 2017. The event will be held in New York.
