The trend of dual camera setup at the back is catching momentum. Apple is already said to include two cameras in its iPhone 7 Plus smartphone. The info is further validated renders of Spigen protective covers.
If Apple can do it than Samsung could definitely do it as well. Korean phone maker’s upcoming smartphone, Galaxy S8 has been tipped to feature dual camera setup on the back. The tip comes from “i ice universe” a famous Weibo leakster with proven track record.
The phone is expected to go official later this year in Spring. It is said to have 12MP + 13MP dual cameras. The 12MP snapper could be Samsung’s very own S5K2L2 sensor while 13MP could be a Sony module (unknown sensor). Dual camera’s are known to capture different depth of field and take pictures even in low light conditions. We expect the same in upcoming Galaxy S8.
Moreover, the leakster also reveals that this upcoming flagship phone is said to have 8MP selfie snapper, which is an upgrade from 5MP snapper seen in Galaxy s7. Iris scanning, recently seen on Galaxy Note7 will also make its way to S8.
It is to early to tell but this piece of info has upped over expectations already. More details and rumors will fly by soon so stay tuned.
