Samsung has announced a budget 4G tablet in Taiwan called the Galaxy Tab J. Usually, “J Series” devices are entry level, and this latest tablet for Korean manufacturer falls in the same category.
The Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab J include 7-Inch PLS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and about 216ppi pixel density. It is equipped with 1.5GHz quad core processor at core and houses 1.5GB RAM and 8GB Storage ROM. MicroSD card slot is also present that supports up to 200GB.
This is an Android 5.1 Lollipop based Tablet with 8MP rear camera (f/1.9 aperture, auto focus). On the front is 2MP selfie snapper as well. The hardware energizes itself from its 4000 mAh battery. The device measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 289 grams.
The Galaxy Tab J is equipped with special Kids Mode 4.0. The Tablet sports dual SIM slots (4G + 2G) and has all connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, A-GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab J is priced at TWD 5990 ($185) and comes in White and Gold colours. Global roll out details were not revealed.
