Samsung Galaxy TabPro S launched in Canada

Samsung Electronics Canada has announced availability of its latest 2-in-1 device called the Galaxy TabPro S. It if first amongst galaxy series to run on Windows 10 Pro operating system and comes with Cortana as well.

This 2-in-1 device is aimed at business professions and on-the-go consumers who are looking for the productivity of laptop and portability of tablet. It is slim, sleek, stylish, just 0.25-Inch thick and weighs 1.5 pounds (693 grams).

The Galaxy TabPro S sports 12-Inch Super AMOLED Display with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution and 16M colour depth. The screen shows true-life colours with deep colour contrasts and supports multi-touch as well. It also has Optional C-Pen support.

It is powered by 2.2GHz Dual Core Intel Core M3 processor and sports 4GB RAM. This 2-in-1 device has measurements of 290.3 x 198.8 x 6.3 mm and houses a powerful 5200 mAh non removable battery that full charges up in 2.5 hours. The battery allows about 10.5 hours of mixed usage.

The Galaxy TabPro S houses 128GB solid state drive (SSD) for storage and is non expandable. It has a full-size detachable keyboard with integrated touchpad. On the front side is 5MP fixed focus camera coupled with 5MP auto focus snapper on the back.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/a/c, Dual Band 2.4GHz + 5GHz, MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.0, USB 3.1, NFC, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also has Accelerometer, Hall Sensor and Light sensor bundled inside.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is priced at CDN$ 1,399 (US$ 1091) and with detachable keyboard. It comes in Black colour option and can be pre-ordered from May 13, 2016 from Samsung Experience Stores. Major retailers across Canada will get stocks from May 25, 2016.
