Samsung along with Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear Sport has also unveiled Gear IconX (2018).
The Gear IconX (2018) are cord-free earbuds that supports Samsung’s Bixby. It offers improved battery life than its predecessor. The Bluetooth earbuds are said to offer up to 4 hours of talk time or up to 7 hours on standby mode.
Each earbud weighs about 8 grams. They come with 4GB storage and are powered by 82mAh battery. They also come with capacitive surface and supports different gestures like single tap / double / triple tap, hold, swipe up / down etc.
Unlike it’s previous generation, the Gear IconX (2018) features a smaller charging case. It also supports quick charging. Company is claiming that you can get 1 hour of exercise just with 10 minutes of charging.
It also comes with personal running coach, which encourages wearer during workouts. They are splash resistant and comes with P2i nano coating. Each earbud have 2 microphones and are compatible with most Android Smartphones available now a days.
Each earbuds measure 22.8 x 18.9 x 21.8 mm while it’s case has dimensions of 31.4 x 73.4 x 44.5 mm. The case also comes with USB Type-C port.
It supports array of languages like English, Frecnch, German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The Gear IconX (2018 also comes with 5.8pi dynamic drivers for enhanced sound output. Bluetooth V4.2 is supported as well.
