Samsung has officially launched Gear Sport smartwatch and Gear Fit2 Pro fitness tracker in India. Both of them will be up for pre-order starting December 4th and will be available from December 11th.
Samsung Gear Sport
The smartwatch has dimensions of 42.9 x 44.6 x 11.6 mm and weighs about 50 grams. It has 5 ATM water resistance rating and complies with MIL STD 810G as well.
The The Gear Sport features in 1.2-inch AMOLED display which is circular in nature. It is an always on screen with 360 x 360 pixels resolution, 302ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability.
Under the hood is a 1GHz Dual-Core processor, 768MB RAM and 4GB internaal storage space. It has 300 mAh Li-Ion battery and also supports wireless charging.
The smartwatch runs on Tizen OS and is compatible with most Android smartphones running on Android 4.4 or above or iPhone 5 and above with iOS 9.0 or later.
It also comes with array of sensors like Heart Rate, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Ambient light. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and NFC.

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro
This smart fitness tracker features in 1.5-inch Super AMOLED curved display with 2160 x 432 pixels resolution, 310ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It has 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and 4GB on-board storage space. It runs on Tizen OS and is compatible with Android phones running on on Android 4.4 or above or iPhone 5 with iOS 9.0 or later.
The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro specs include 200 mAh battery capacity. It is claimed to last up to 5 days with occasional use. If you have an average usage, it will last 3 to 4 days.
The fitness tracker also acts as a standalone music player. It has built-in GPS, Accelerometer, Gyro, HRM and Barometer.
The device measures 51.3 x 25 mm and weighs 34 grams for large and 33 grams for small size variant. It also comes with MIL STD 810G and 5ATM water resistant rating.
Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou is supported.
