Samsung is working on a new Android Flip Phone and this is imminent with a new TENAA listing. The handset is listed with the name SM-W2018.
The mobile phone measures 132.2 x 63.2 x 15.95 mm and weighs 247 grams. It has two 4.2-inch AMOLED Displays, an internal one and other outside. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well.
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and houses fingerprint sensor at the back. It is powered by 2.35GHz octa-core processor (probably SD835) coupled with 6GB RAM.
According to TENAA, The Samsung SM-W2018 specs include 5MP front facing selfie camera and 12MP primary auto focus CMOS camera at the back with LED Flash and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The smartphone comes in 64GB / 256GB storage space and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It also includes Gravity, Distance and Light sensor. There is a 2300 mAh battery to power the hardware.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Samsung SM-W2018 comes in Silver and Gold colors. It is expected to go official soon. It is worth mentioning that Gionee is also working on an Android Flip Phone.
