Samsung has ended is Nougat Testing phase and has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat OS for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones.
The update will bring major changes in UX. It will also allow faster speeds for downloading Apps and software.
Key Features in Samsung’s Android 7.0 Nougat Update
- Quick Panel will have cleaner aesthetic. Titles have been removed from the icons in the panel’s first depth. Second depth’s are arranged in group of 9.
- Quick Panel also integrates S Finder, quickly allowing users to locate from their smartphone or web.
- Notifications will display information more clearly as they are grouped
- Android 7.0 Nougat update in Samsung phones brings in improved controller. It allows easy adjustment of window size in split screen view.
- New Pop-up window function will support up to 5 separate windows, in addition to 2 in split screens.
- Users can now access up to 7 applications at a time
- The Nougat OS update includes performance mode that lets users optimize their smartphone. It consists of 4 different modes
- Optimize mode extends battery life and enhances speed
- Game Mode provides new functions like Game Launcher and Game Tools
- Entertainment Mode brings in improvements in image quality
- High Performance mode optimizes the best display settings
- The Samsung’s Android 7.0 Nougat update includes Samsung Pass. It acts as a master key for selected website / app login, using fingerprints.
