Samsung at a dedicated event in India has launched Samsung Z2 Tizen OS phone in the country. It runs on Tizen OS 2.4 and packs in Dual SIM slots.
It has 4-Inch display with 800 x 480 pixels WVGA resolution. Under the hood is 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. It has 8GB internal memory and houses MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 128GB.
The Samsung Z2 features a 1500 mAh battery inside. It has 5MP main snapper on the back with LED flash and VGA camera on the front. This budget 4G phone also supports S Bike Mode and Opera powered Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDS).
Connectivity features include 4G LTE with VoLTE (voice over LTE), Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Samsung Z2 is priced at US$ 68 (Rs. 4590 in India). It comes bundled with Jio Preview offer that includes unlimited voice and data for 3 months. The mobile comes in Wine Red, Gold and Black colours and will be available online exclusively from PayTm along with offline retail stores.
