Western Digital, known for its storage solutions has announced world’s first 256GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash drive. It was introduced at CES 2018 show. Along with it, company also showcased world’s smallest 1TB USB Type-C flash drive at the event.
It is not just limited to 256GB storage but comes in capacities of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. It comes with RescuePRO file recovery software just in case you delete important data. It also comes with SanDisk SecureAccess software for 128-bit encryption (password protection).
The Sandisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive can transfer up to 15 times faster than the traditional USB 2.0 drives. It has blazing fast reading speed of up to 130MB/s. Moreover, the USB 3.1 Gen 1 is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0.
