The Japanese phone maker Sharp has launched its latest mobile called Aquos Z2. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports 4G LTE networks via its Dual SIM slots (4G + 3G).
The phone measures 153 x 75 x 8.4 mm and weighs 160 grams. It has 3000mAH non-removable battery and supports Pump Express Plus fast charging.
The Sharp Aquos Z2 specs include 5.5-Inch LTPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with 401ppi pixel density. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and supports multi-touch as well.
The smartphone gets the processing power from Deca core (2.3GHz A72 x 2 + 2GHz A53 x 4 + 1.4GHz A53 x 4) Helio X20 MT6797 processor coupled with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage ROM and is expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
The Aquos Z2 features in an 8MP selfie camera with F/1.8 aperture and 82-degree wide angle lens. On the back is 16MP primary camera with hybrid fast tracking AF, PDAF, and LED Flash.
The smartphone is equipped with fingerprint sensor on the back and makes use of 36-degree omni-directional fingerprint recognition technology. Moreover, it also includes Infrared universal remote control and high-quality two-way amplifier chip.
In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, USB 2.0 Type-C, A-GPS + GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio jack. The device also houses array of sensors like Ambient light, accelerometer, proximity, e-compass, magnetic sensor and gyroscope.
The Sharp Aquos Z2 is priced at NT$ 8,990 (approx. US$ 284) and comes in Silver and Gold color options.
