Smartron has just launched its latest smartphone called the t.phone at an event in Hyderabad. It has uni-body metal design and houses Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro SIM + Nano SIM / MicroSD) with Dual standby.
It has 5.5-Inch AMOLED display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. Inside is (2GHz Cortex-A57 x 4 + 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 x 4) Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (64-Bit) processor with Adreno 430 GPU.
The Smartron t.phone houses 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB internal storage memory and allows further expansion as well (2nd SIM slot can be used for MicroSD Cards). This is an Android Smartphone running on 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
It has 13MP primary camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 6p lens, dual-LED flash and supports phased detection auto focus. On the front side is a 4MP selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture. The mobile is powered by 3000 mAh battery and supports Qualcomm quick charge 2.0.
The smartphone supports 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+ networks along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Smartron t.phone is priced at US$ 341 (Rs. 22,999 in India) and will be available online from Smartron t.store and Gadgets360 from early June 2016. It comes in Violet, Silver, Blue and Orange colour options.
