Sony Electronics is a global leader in its digital imaging solutions. Today, company has introduced its latest Flagship 4K and HD Action Cams called FDR-X3000R and HDR-AS300R.

They are the first POV Cameras to include Balanced Optical SteadyShot (B.O.SS) image stabilization technology. Internally, the camera lens and sensors are joined and moved together to compensate shaking. This ensures capturing smooth and stable footage.

Both the Action Cams feature new ZEISS Tessar Lens, new Back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS Sensor, Powerful BIONZ X processor and captures video at 16:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, they utilize full pixel readout without pixel binning technology to produce high-res images with accurate colours.

It can read and process date in variety of formats including high data stream XAVC S codec (100Mbps in 4K and 50Mbps in 1080p). Bot the cameras offer new angle of view adjustment, 3X smooth zoom  at Wide / Medium / Narrow settings.

They have built-in stereo microphone with wind noise reduction. Sony’s new Action Cam models will be offered in a kit with a compact live-view remote, which is 30% smaller than previous ones.  The remote has mountable design, can control various functions (shooting, start/stop recording, power) and features an “auto display” mode.
