Sony has silently launched a new Xperia smartphone in Japan called Xperia 10 III Lite. It will be available at Rakuten Mobile, IIJmio, mineo, goo and nuro Mobile carriers.
For starters, Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is powered by Android 11 OS. It comes with IPX5/IPX8/IP6X water and dust resistant rating. The device itself has measurements of 154 x 68 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 169 grams.
The cellphone had dual SIM support. It includes a single Nano SIM slot and eSIM and has support for 5G and 4G VoLTE. It comes with Fingerprint sensor for biometrics and houses 3.5mm audio jack. It also includes LDAC and Sony’s High-quality ‘DSEE Ultimate’ sound technology.
The Xperia 10 III Lite specs include a 6.-inch OLED display offering 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution at 21:9 aspect ratio and HDR support. Powering inside is octa-core Snapdragon 690 5G mobile platform with 6GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage space. It has MicroSD card support up to 1TB.
At the back side is a triple camera setup consisting of 12MP main with F/1.8 Aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with F/2.4 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide angle lenses with F/2.2 Aperture. At the front side is an 8MP shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
The Xperia 10 3 lite comes with 4500mAh battery capacity and includes safe charging technology. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, NFC and GPS/GLONASS.
The Sony Xperia 10 III Lite comes in Black, White, Blue and Pink colors. The color options are depending on carrier though. It is priced at JPY 46,800 ($425/€365 approx.) and will go on sale from August 27th. [source1 – 2 – 3]
