Sony Xperia XZ Premium lands in India for Rs. 59,990

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium, company’s latest flagship smartphone which was announced at MWC 2017 has been officially launched in India.
It has metal frame and glass on front and back. Its IP65/IP68 rating makes it water and dust resistant. At just 7.9 mm thickness and 195 grams weight, it carries a 3230 mAh battery inside. Sony is also offering UCH-12 fast charger as it supports Quick Charge 3.0 (60% in just 45mins).
The Xperia XZ Premium’s 5.5-Inch TRILUMINOS display (with X-Reality) offers 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K Resolution. It has 138% sRGB and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added scratch resistance.
An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC sits inside with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
If your looking for a decent camera phone, the Xperia XZ Premium features in 19MP primary shooter with Exmor RS sensor, F/2.0 Aperture lens, 1/2.3-inch Sensor, 5-Axis Stabilization, Predictive capture, 4K recording and also supports slow-motion video capture at 960Fps. The front side of the cell phone is a 13MP camera with 1/3-inch Exmor RS sensor, F/2.0 22mm wide aperture and records 1080p videos.
The handset comes with Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots of which second slot doubles up for MicroSD card. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box. There is a Fingerprint sensor, DSEE HX, LDAC and Digital Noise Cancelling as well.
It has all the connectivity options as well like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB 3.1 Type-C, GPS/GLONASS, NFC etc.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is priced at Rs. 59,990 ($930 approx.) and comes in Deepsea Black and Luminous Chrome color options. You can pre-order this smartphone at all Sony centers, select retail outlets and online exclusively at Amazon.in from June 2, 2017. It will be available from June 12, 2017.
