T-Mobile has unveiled its own variant of LG VELVET 5G. It is slightly different from original LG VELVET smartphone which rolled out in US back in July.
The new LG VELVET 5G from T-Mobile features in 6.8-inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch.
The smartphone has measurements of 6.58 x 2.91 x 0.33 inch and weighs about 6.63 ounces. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box.
The LG VELVET 5G T-Mobile model is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000C SoC with Mali-G57 MC5 GPU. It has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space and allows further expansion up to 1TB using MicroSD card.
The smartphone is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. It also complies with MIL-STD-810G military grade durability. It has in-display fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. There are stereo speakers and LG 3D sound engine for enhanced audio experience.
The T-Mobile LG VELVET 5G specs include 4000mAh batter which company claims to offer 17 hours of talk time or 18.3 days of standby time. Optics are handled by 16MP front camera and triple rear shooters consisting of 48MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) + 5MP (depth) shooters.
Connectivity options include 5G / 4G LTE Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, GPS/GLONASS and NFC.
The T-Mobile LG VELVET 5G price is $588 (RS. 42,980 approx.) without contract. It has a $24.50 / month for 24 months no-interest equipment installment plan as well. The smartphone comes in Aurora Gray and Pink White colors. It will start rolling out from September 10th.
