Transsion Holdings has launched a new smartphone in India called TECNO CAMON 16. It boots on HiOS 7.0 which is based on Android 10 and includes Dual Nano SIM slot and a dedicated MicroSD Card slot.
The TECNO CAMON 16 specs include 6.8-inch multi-touch display with 1640 x 720 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio and delivers 480nits brightness. It is powered by octa-core (2GHz A75 x 2 + 1.7GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Helio G70 SoC with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
The smartphone houses 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space, which is further expandable using MicroSD card. There is a 5000mAh battery inside which supports 18W fast charging.
The TECNO CAMON 16 features in 16MP front camera with dual-LED Flash. At the back side are quad-cameras which includes 48MP (main 1/2″ sensor, F/1.79) + 2MP (macro, 4cm shots) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + AI Lens. It has Penta-LED flash at the back. The primary shooter has TAIVOS (TECNO AI Vision Optimization Solution) technology that filters image noise for enhanced photo and video quality.
The handset measures 179.9 x 77.2 x 9.2 mm and weighs 207 grams. It has rear mounted fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It has Dirac technology for audio enhancement.
The TECNO CAMON 16 price in India is Rs. 10,999 and comes in Purist Blue and Cloud White colors. It will go on sale at Flipkart from October 16th during Big Billion Days sale.
