UMi Plus is the latest smartphone from Chinese manufacturer. It is said to be mini version of Note7. UMi will launch the phone on September 7th, the same day when Apple is launching iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus.
The UMi Plus is a uni-body metal body smartphone made from 6000 series aluminum alloy coupled with an anodic oxidation process. The phone packs in 5.5-Inch LTPS (Sharp Panel) display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen has 2.5D arc glass on top.
Under the hood is and octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860 GPU. It has 4GB LPDDR3 RAM for smooth performance. It also includes 32GB of storage ROM inside.
There is a Touch ID 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button for added security. It unlocks the smartphone in just 0.1 second. The front camera is of 5MP and is equipped with GalaxyCore GC5005 sensor. On the back is 13MP main camera with Samsung 3L8 Sensor, 5P lens with anti-glare coating, dual-Tone LED flash, PDAF (focus in 0.1 second) and 1080p video recording capabilities.
The UMi Plus features in a decently powerful 4000 mAh battery (4.35V). It supports PE+ fast charging technology, thanks to USB Type-C Port. Other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS etc are supported as well.
The UMi Plus will retail for US$ 219.99 however those who pre-order can get it for US$ 179.99. Pre-sale starts from September 7th at company’s official website.
